All jobs completed by KDK Designs involve approval of design detail drawings, production  & manufacturing drawings.  KDK have also been responsible for all fixing and hardware components required

for curtain wall project completion.

 

1) NATIONAL PHYSIC’S LABORATORY-TEDDINGTON (1998)

Architect: Percy Thomas Partnership

• Approx. 16,000 m2 of glass & aluminium curtain wall. ( 16 Science Blocks )

• Pluswall System specially designed for concealed vents externally

• Aluminium Rain screen cladding

 

2) Cambourne Business Park Cambridge (2000)

Architect:  Aukett Europe

• Approx. 14,000 m2 of glass & aluminium curtain wall (7 buildings)

• Structural Glass entrance canopies

• Brise Soleil (sun shades) fixed to curtain wall with specially designed concealed bracketry.

• Pluswall System specially designed for concealed vents externally

• Aluminium Rain screen cladding

Punched windows interfacing with brickwork

 

3) Electronic Arts – Chertsey Surrey (2001)

Architect:  Fosters & Partners

• Approx. 3000 m2 of glass & aluminium curtain wall

• Inclined facades to 3 connecting buildings

• Aerofoil shaped mullions incorporating automatic vents with fully concealed operating actuators.

• Brise Soleil (sun shades) fixed to curtain wall with specially designed concealed bracketry.

 

4) ORBIS 1, 2 & 3 – Staines LONDON (2001)

Architect:  Broadway Malyan

• Approx. 5500 m2 of glass & aluminium curtain wall (3 buildings)

• Structural Glass entrance canopies

• Brise Soleil (sun shades) fixed to curtain wall with specially designed concealed bracketry.
